Amplify Studio partnered with Heather Hansen to turn the launch of her book “Unmuted” into a global movement, by Amplifying her brand image, global book launch, and brand partnerships.

✦ 1:1 Brand DNA & Image Coaching
We carried out a 1:1 session with Heather Hansen to dive deeper into her vision, her brand image, and her upper limits when it comes to how she is showing up online as a public figure. This helped us to identify where her brand was not aligned with her next level of desired growth and which areas needed to be expanded upon.
✦ Repositioning the brand of Heather Hansen
On the brand front, we reviewed Heather’s brand image and DNA to identify areas where she could better embody the “Unmuted” message. We gave her clear recommendations on how her content, message, and visuals could be more aligned with the Unmuted philosophy, as well as her personal embodiment of this mission in her message and energy.
We also partnered with a design studio to create a specific brand DNA for the Unmuted launch, which was present throughout the book launch and following brand initiatives.
✦ Conceptualising an international book launch
We fully conceptualised and strategised an international book launch that would encompass the Unmuted message, representing the book’s values of inclusion, expression, and feeling safe embodying your own truth.
The book launch was in the form of an “Open Mic” experience, where Heather Hansen got international participant speakers, coaches, writers, and activists to do mini Ted Talks on their “Unmuted” moment.
There was also a section of the event dedicated to people sending in their “Unmuted” moments, which were then played for all participants.
Since Heather’s book was launching in two geographies within the same month, we decided to create two book launches, one for each time zone, to adhere to Australian/APAC time and UK/Europe time.
✦ Executing the launch campaign
We fully executed the book launch campaign, devising a specific brand identity, messaging strategy, pre and post-publicity content, and materials for the event to be fully publicised online. This included: speaker invitations and instructions, social media posts and stories, instructions for sending in Unmuted moments, Zoom waiting room text, background imagery, and so on.
✦ Brand partnerships & collaborations with Bloomsbury, international speakers & activists
As part of our partnerships and outreach retainer, we approached international speakers, writers, models, and activitists to participate as speakers in the book launch.
We also separately organised a speaking series with Bloomsbury Business to feature fellow authors from their business category to be interviewed by Heather in her online series.

✦ The Unmuted book launch was the springboard for several six figure deals called “Unmuted Interventions” in large corporations.

✦ Hundreds of people joined a virtual book launch from 50+ countries.
